Ever the romantic. One of the many things I adore about you.
[She turns, but no matter which way she looks, she can't see a trace of him. And she knows he isn't that far away, based on the sound of his voice. Invisibility? She's been walking through the narrower paths of her furniture on purpose just to see if something wobbles. Unless he's danced around in front of her, and can throw his voice.
She sighs and hums contentedly when she feels his fingers in her hair. When she reaches up to catch his hand, though, the only things she feels are the plaits that are running between his fingers. Partially intangible as well as invisible? That could be a fun bit of magic to play with.]
[ It's quite simple to keep out of her sight, or rather hide under her nose. As long as can stay in her shadow and out of pitch darkness, he's well hidden indeed. Watching her carefully, predicting each move, so long as she doesn't do something sudden and drastic he can keep the game up. ]
I could tell you, but that would take some of the fun out of it, don't you think? [ He does spare a moment to think about if the man he confiscated the Skein of Shade from for using it for evil ever had such a good time with it. He doubts it, because there's no one as fun as Evie to tease. Transmitting his touch through her shadow is a curious feeling, tangible yet not. He draws his fingers across her jawline to cup her cheeks. Small, shallow imprints of them on her skin. And her lips get the same as a kiss to her shadow travels to her body. ] How about... three guesses?
[And she is having fun. Whatever he's managed, it's fascinating to try and puzzle out. Intangible, yet he can touch her. She can feel the hint of his fingers slide across her face, feel the pressure of them as he cups her cheeks. And the kiss.... If her eyes were closed, she'd believe he stood in front of her. As it is, she's aware that she's pressing her lips against something and nothing at the same time. She brings her hand up, through where he'd be standing if he were in front of her, and gets the strange sensation of feeling his lips and the back of her hand at the same time before the former fades.]
Three guesses? Hmmm....
[She taps her chin with her finger and tilts her head slightly as she thinks.]
[ He hasn't decided what her prize for guessing correctly is, nor what happens if she fails. It would probably be the same thing, honestly. The idents of his hands move down her shoulders, visibly contorting her clothing in a way normally hidden by the hands. The touch of lips on her cheeks, one on either side, but the voice is from her shadow. ]
[Hmmm.... While she isn't surprised at the response, she is a little disappointed to have guessed wrong. Puzzles need figuring out, after all.
Her hand falls away from her chin as she feels his hands at her shoulders, moving down the curve of them to her upper arms, and she sees the fabric pull along with the movement. For a brief moment, the game recedes, and she's fascinated at watching how the fabric moves under pressure, how it stretches and scrunches beneath the weight of a hand she can't see. The kisses, however, bring her mind back into focus, and the words remind her of what she's doing.]
I'm thinking out loud, just so you know. This isn't simple invisibility, otherwise I'd be able to touch you as well. And it isn't even invisibility combined with simple intangibility, since I can feel what you're doing....
[She starts to pace the length of the room, trying to think.]
Elemental magic? Using the air to simulate the movements and carry your voice from somewhere nearby?

How are you doing that?
